This wonderful book of matches from the Las Vegas casino, formerly known as the Lady Luck (now the D) located in downtown Las Vegas, on Fremont Street. Back in the day the Lady Luck was one of the places to be for "A-Listers" and high profiled figures. This book is a thumb-print, maybe relic of a once "Apex Of Splendor" that will no longer be.

Slight correction. The Lady Luck is now the Downtown Grand. The D was formerly the Fitzgerald's. Derek Stevens and his brother own the D (formerly Fitzgeralds) as well as the Golden Gate.
The Fitzgeralds was sold to Derek Stevens after the passing of Don Barden, the first black man granted a casino ownership license in 1988. The Fitzgeralds was originally opened as the Sundance in 1981, and run by Moe Dalitz.
No, I did not go all Wikipedia on you. :) I am a tour guide at the Neon Museum, where we talk about the Lady Luck, Fitzgeralds, and their replacements. :)
