I got these beauties at a local thrift store today. They are paper stuffed with all hand made clothes. They are hand painted and breathtaking. There are makings on the neck and a 69. I'm looking for any information someone might be able to impart. I have looked everywhere for an answer.... Thanks

Look on bottom of base they look a lot like Santon D'Argile Doll From France dolls but hard to tell sideways to see faces clear . Google Santon Dolls

Thank you Manikin. I think you're on to something about terracotta or even clay. I posted some more photos. Still sideways.
The photo's got smaller and I need it larger to see signature . Can you remove it and add a larger picture of it ? Thanks
