    I found this beauty at an old campground and would love to know it's apx year I have the model number as 183 or 189. patent number 2767948.
    Any information is really appreciated!

      The patent was issued in 1956. The trademark under the logo was used 1941-1962. So your cool Coca-Cola cooler is circa 1960.

      Good job Daddy_Nobucks. I personally do not care for 'circa' dates, not enough definition. In this case your history yields a period date of 1956 - 1962, consider using that.
      Again, nice work and have a good one.

      Dad used to carry this very heavy cooler down to Coney Island Beach back in the mid to late 1960s. It had to easily weigh 25-30 lbs with just some sandwiches and some cans of soda and the ice my father was always making in the freezer..Very nice piece.

      I have this same cooler ...did anyone find any more info out ,as i found an article on ebay from one that was auctioned off couple yrs ago and it claimed this cooler was used in Fenway Park? anyone hear about this?
