    This very heavy stoneware studio pot/dish was a tip find for a £1. Its 10" across x 5" high and has brown lava type glaze running into greeny blues , the handles curl along both sides and even the ends of them have what looks like rivets holding them on but made in clay , the bottom has a maker mark which look like Av over each other in monogramme .. comments welcome

      Thanks icloisonne , it could be the poss maker , but am unsure as ES used a cream coloured pottery as it says in thd link!! I think its definatly European though.. thanks again for looking sd :-)

      Just thought I would post this as the mark is in a triangle, but the inside mark is very much the same idea as yours (this mark is unknown too) but found it in Australian pottery....?? Not sure if it will help or not
