I bought this in the early days of collecting (2005) LOL and thought it might be Murano but I later discovered it was Chinese item. It is very pretty, and like it.......BUT ALAS.....it fooled me. It is not Murano.

Now I can see why it is not Murano as the polish bottom is not as fine as on Murano and the base has like waves in the glass. Again it is pretty, I like it but I have been trying to focus on real vintage Murano. As there is just more Quality there. I still may be fooled, but HEY....it is called learning.....and sometimes I just like it too

Like you, I have two vases, later identified as Chinese, that I bought in my earlier collecting days that I keep for 2 good reasons:
      1. I still like them
      2. They have been and remain learning tools.
(they are not as nice as this mind you)

I may well have others I am unaware of, and as the Chinese productions constantly improve, I may end up with more!

anybody who ever bought Murano glass on more than one occasion has very likely been fooled by the improved quality Chinese copies ;-)
