Carousel horse

Hi My grandma has always wanted a carousel
Horse and one day I was searching Craigslist and
Found this horse in the free section, it sat outside
For the last 10 years so was in very bad shape
It had lots of rot so with many hours and bondo
Restoring the horse we are almost done
We just need to make the stand .This
Horse was origanialy a standing horse on his
Back 2 feet and wooden tail.
would love to know more about this carousel
Horse like when it was made and who may have made this horse I
Think it could be 1890-1910? It very heavy and made out of
Mahogany I think.
