Molten/Pressed Glass - Owl?

I have this piece that I'm not sure if it is an owl or maybe I have it upside down and it just looks like an owl. No markings that I can tell. I see what looks to be a horseshoe and the number 13 on the belly. I'd really like to find out the maker and if this is an owl, does it have something to do with good and evil? Intrigued to learn more...anyone?
