The image is that of an original oil on canvas by Joyce Weinstein. Completed the painting in 1970, measuring 30 x 30 inches, the painting was named "Wave". According to the label on the rear of the painting, it was part of the collection of Ciba-Geigy Corp.
I was fortunate to locate this painting at the Meadowlands Flea Market.
Joyce Weinstein's bibliography
“ Although abstract, I paint what I see... the beautiful countryside all around me... the rolling hills, mountains and distant views... the ever changing sky, nearby fields, woods and streams... old barns... haystacks... weeds and wild flowers... everything. ”
