Continuing on with the home tour. This is the upstairs bath. The most challenging thing here has been how to decorate the interior wall. Graniteware/Enamelware wash basins and chamber pots. Most people seem to think when one needed to go in the middle of the night one had to go to the outhouse but that is not so. There was the chamber pot which could be emptied in the morning.
Also I have a fair amount of vintage medicine bottles and more.
Just love it....:-)

Thank you tom61375 and gargoylecollector.
We use to collect chamber pots and resell them. Last one we sold the lady that bought it collected odd coffee mugs. It was porcelain and very large and she loved it. I didn't argue because she had the money. I doubt I would stop by her house for coffee.
Thank you very much fhrjr2. I don't think I'll be stopping by her house myself.
Thank you smiata.
Thank you Sean and Kerry.
Loveeeee it!!!!
This post always makes me laugh with old memories. Polite people called them a chamber pot, working people called them a thunderjug or thundermug.
Here is a thundermug (reproduction) with an original warning. Funny stuff.

Am I the only one concerned about that electric fan so close to the bathtub? Suction from the back draws in the curtains which get caught in the blades; fan hurls thru the air and bounces off the bath curtain falling into the tub where some poor unsuspecting soul is having a soaker. And the rest is Groundhog Day.
Oops haven't been by in a couple years. The fan isn't plugged in unless I am using it and not when using the tub or shower.
