(2 items)
1. #1 lamp is 9 3/4" x 4 3/4" and base 6" top 3 3/4" across
2. #2 lamp is 15 3/4" x 5"(1st globe), 4 3/4" (2nd globe) base 5" diam.
I do not know much about these. Can anyone tell me if these are Hobnail style lamps? Can someone identify these for me and what the value of these lamps are.
I need help identifying the type of glass, I know they are hurricane lamps, and the value of the 2 lamps.
The word "Vintage" is always over-used in describing items for sale on Auction Sites and sometimes here on CW. If you do use "Vintage", it must be used with a date or period of time that it may have been created, like: Vintage 1950's, Vintage Art Deco period etc...
These lamps do not appear to be hobnail, I would describe the as "Pillow" or "Diamond" pattern lamps. I would not call them Hurricane Lamps......Bedroom or boudoir lamps would be more suitable. They are post 1960's and I have seen them in White opal glass and other colors. There are many companies that could have made them in the U.S. and overseas. We don't give values here at CW but I would estimate them at less than $50 for both even though they are not a match. RER
