      Where was it found? Maybe Persian but just a guess without more info.. I assume it doesn't say "MADE IN CHINA". That alone would make it rare!! LOL

      Hi,
      I am not sure where it was found. I had it give to me by a gentleman who bought it in India around late 1960's. It looks to me that is has been excavated but I could be wrong. It also has a Yali (Elephant type creature, see in pic #2 and 3) above the handle where the blade starts.What do you think?

      The style does indeed look Indian. My collecting has been almost exclusively European & American, so my knowledge in this area is strictly from peripheral observations.
