    Rare photo of Goddess Of Liberty that sits on top the capitol bldg. in Austin Texas. The Original statue pictured is now in a museum and a replica was installed in its place

      What a terrific photograph.

      You did forget one fact. This is the photo taken before it was installed on the dome of the Capitol building in February 1888.

      The statue remained until 1986, at which time an aluminum replica was made to replace the original, which was placed in the Bullock State History Museum.
