I grabbed the off an ebay auction. This is the description it hadon ebay. And I'm wondering where I can start researching how old this thing really is?
"VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION - PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. THIS WAS MY GRANDMOTHERS. I SEE ONE MARK THAT I THINK IS A STAMP ON IT--PLEASE SEE LAST PHOTO FOR CLOSE UP OF THIS. I FOUND NO OTHER MARKINGS BUT IT LOOKS DISTINCTLY LIKE THE ONES I SEE FROM GERMANY SO THAT IS WHAT I AM ASSUMING...” This what is said on the auction. Any information on the stamp would be appreciated. Where can I look up the stamp in the first photo?
