    It's an unknown...heavy bronze holder of something. Have taken to a few dealers and they think 18hundreds, possibly French. But not sure what they are. Were found in South Louisiana under a old house.

    Approx 5 in high. Round area is solid. A couple of them do have threads in the top portion of the long top.

      as far as i'm aware these are incense burners from india, they use a black sticky incense and these are held and waved from side to side, i have one very similar to these, i'll get a picture later and put it on........

      Hi
      Its been a while since i last commented.....but since then i have researched my own one of these and now much more about them.
      They tend to be Peruvian in origin and can date back as much as 1000ad....these do appear to be later ones. They are known as KOHL FLASKS and where used for eye makeup.......Hope that helps Ian
