    An older friend of mine is clearing out his father-in-laws house and came across this. I'm thinking it's a projector, but I can't find anything that looks the same online. He also has a box of slides. It looks similar to the Mirroscope, but the addition of the bellows is interesting.

      Well I would say you're right on the money with your assessment of this device. It certainly appears to be a "magic lantern". There are several with the bellows in front for focusing. Have you opened it up? I'm wondering what the light source is. I don't suppose there's a name anywhere on or in it?
