This is our Josef Hoffmann designed vase. It was designed for the Wiener Werkstätte and manufactured by the Moser glassworks. It's got a lilac hue of gray which is absolutely beautiful.
Unfortunately it is unsigned, but Carlos has got this image of a simmilar Hoffmann vase in gray and it is fully signed.
So far there are two JH items in our collection, the other one being the cigarette case I shared here at CW last month ( http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/122784-brass-cigarette-box-josef-hoffmann-wie?in=user ) . Then there is the cobalt blue vase that could end up being a Hoffman design ( http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/118661-four-unknown-ca-1900-glass-vases-help ), and another box I'll share here soon, which is probably one too, although we're not 100% sure about it.

Amber, I would love to go back to Florida some time! I've got great memories of Florida, both Tallahhassee and the Panhandle and South Florida (Miami, the Keys, etc...), and specially the nature around!!! Enjoy your holidays!

You're right Katzl, the colour is very important in this vase. It would look stunning in let's say cobalt blue, even bolder, but this lilac gray fits superbly with the shape
