I would love to get this in working condition! Is there a manual I can download? Seems the stem pump doesn't hold air, is there a gasket that I can install?

Very cool! It looks almost like a trench lighter from the 40's, yet a little different. Can't see the engraving and don't know what size it is tho.
oops...I enlarged the pic and can see it, I still dont know what size it is tho.

And if you want to keep the value, please don't play "Tim the tool man Taylor" lol
      Just kidding :)

Ha ha I misread what you wrote, there may be a gasket that needs to be replaced. Contact the manufacturer if they are still in biz and I think it would be lighter fluid you would have to add. Good luck with it.

Depends on how old it is as to what kind of seal needed. Lighter fluid is naptha & a lot cheaper by the pint or litre than buying Zippo cans of lighter fluid.

I just came back from Germany and got there something very similar. Mine is made of brass and rather small - maybe around 5 inches. I was told it might have been used as a lamp, possibly for miners. I find this hard to believe but I will post it in a few weeks when I get back from lovely Florida.
