    Vintage looking scalp & pepper shakers. Label on the bottom "Ron Gordon Design" Taiwan. Love these old-fashioned roosters. Found at a rummage for $.50 for both!

      Gotta love chooks!
      I have some of these cold painted items...such a pity the paint comes off isn't it!

      These would be early Taiwanese export do you think with corks in the base?

      Racer4four, yes! Corks in the base! It is sad the paint is almost off... However adds to the charm over all. Early export?

      Just thinking early because from the 70s on most S&P had plastic stoppers.
      I'm in Oz so don't know of Ron Gordon. If you could find out when they imported might give a better idea, but for me, I wouldn't bother, just keep being charmed by them!
