I'm hoping that someone can tell me what we have here. It's a Kochs barber chair- but that's the extent of our knowledge. My father (the son of a barber) bought it from a former barber and it's sat in our basement for the past 15-20 years. It's in reasonably good shape but we don't know the first thing about these chairs. Thanks for any advice you can offer!

1950's chair. There are a bunch of sites online dealing with these. You should have no problem at all researching it. Nice basic chair.

Looks to be about 1947 type of barber Chair......maybe even older??

I LOVE IT!!! I used to cut hair ( Barber stylist ) for about 10 years. One of the places I worked at was your basic one-room old type of barber-shop. Just a room with about 12 chairs for the people, and 2 old type of barber chairs with our stations. Everyone talked, and laughed and visited with each other......Great fun times. Plus the old barber chairs were like this there....
