bonehands

Just wanted to share a couple pictures of a couple clocks I just restored, they are both made before 1900! One plays music! The trim on one is original shiny rosewood? almost purple/cabernet. The other is same solid trim, but unfinished/oiled, light, hardwood (I'm trying to identify) that just needs occasional oil. I carved several areas of the wood leaves and vines, on both clocks. I also carve bone hands for many antique cuckoo, quail, trumpeter, mantle-FUSEE cuckoo clocks. Hands seen on the old BEHA clocks break, I make replacements, to match the originals. , can you spot my repairs? I hope not. Thank you for looking. Bare with me, I'm new on computer! very green
Roy is the best at what he does!
