      Is it a spoon ?? Or a spoon rest ?? Looks like one I brought back from holiday for my sister .. to put your dirty spoons on like when you make tea ..

      I should have put in the measurements. It is smaller than a spoon rest. Chinese style soup spoon is a type of spoon used in Chinese soup. It is shorter and thicker with a deep flat bowl. It is used for eating soups, stews, or rice. It has high sides to hold liquid and solids. There are other larger alike spoons such as serving spoons or ladles and decorative ones for spoon rests.
