We have several antique pen experts but the only one I can think of is Hems & he has been real busy & not with us lately. I have his email from our joke thread & will fwd to him. You should get an answer from him or one of our other pen collectors. Beautiful pen!

Hems, that last quote shows that you don't know anything about our "Wayward Islands"! We move what we want to where ever we want. Excuse me while I look up the meaning of the word "tariff". LOL

That's what I thought it meant Hems. Actually we are not screwed by France or the dutch as there is an ancient treaty that leaves us duty free & there is also no sales tax. Our "reaming" comes from the local politicians. I don't pay taxes on anything! I am past taxing age with my French business and list no employees. I sponsor assistants to get them their airport security badges & what they do about taxes, - I don't ask. Neat dodge, eh!

Yeah, I knew a bit about that tax after one's birth certificate expires & the basic thing under other names goes on in the States. Of course they have ways of collecting that avoids repossession of the dead body. The Amer. Colonies revolted over "taxation without representation" and traded it for taxation with misrepresentation. Sorry state of affairs that! My Social "In" Security records showed 31 yrs with a "0" next to it. You may have come to the right source. You have my email address, so throw it at me & I'll give it some thought. Well raised but "street-wise"! Throw in legal knowledge, and we have a potential potent brew!
