This nice Heisey "swung" glass vase came from Salvation Army. It was sitting in their window display shelves usually reserved for art glass and vases. It's 11 1/2 in. tall and is a bit higher on one side of the petal rim. The bottom is hexagonal with a star burst in the middle. It has a mark which is only visible from the inside. It's right in the middle of the design. An "H" within a diamond. This pattern is from their "Colonial" line and was produced from 1899 to 1944. So it's kind of hard to pin point the exact age of this particular piece. It's a bit dirty. Maybe I should have washed it before I took the pictures.

looks like maybe Heisey #300 Peerless (one of Heisey's Colonial patterns), c.1897. Swung vases were often made from spooners, celery vases and tumblers. The early pieces would contain manganese and shouldn't be displayed in the sunny windows as it will cause then glass to turn purple, which is considered damage.

Thanks Tallcakes :) ..... It doesn't look purple just a bit of water marking and dust. Needs a good wash.
