there is also a lid to this washer i forgot to fetch it out
had it for over forty years but cannot put exact age on it
size is 13inches high and 6 and a quarter inches wide
as you can see needs some tlc been neglected in the loft
i can not be sure of its working condition now i do know it used to work
it may just need a bit of oil on working parts
My mother used these things right up until the mid 70's. My father finally had enough and made her use a new machine.
This machine is quite hard to find. I have one like this in better condition but does not work. there seems to be a missing piece of the battery compartment on both our machines. the best toy washers from this era are the Hoover by Mettoy and the Servis by Tri-ang although the latter is quite hard to find also.
