This brooch is from the same area as the "Dalahästar" (wooden painted horses) that some of you know about. I have never seen a brooch like this. It´s made of brass and has a nice enamel with bright colors and shows a man and woman dancing in traditional clothes from the region Dalarna in Sweden. It was probably made in the 50's. I think it´s fun because there is a lot of "movement" in the piece.
Very beautiful!!

Thank you very much virginia vintage!
Thanks Vetraio50 and pops52!
Maybe, or a tourist after a visit to Dalarna. This feel a bit 'touristy' to me. Real folk dancers would wear proper traditional jewelry often made in silver with clasps. Thank you for your respons and love Phil, always grateful for it :-).
Thanks Racer4four, Mikelv85 and Valentino97!
