These are the old books that I saved as a child. They have a lot of wear and tare (old and not made by me) and feeling to them. The 1748 one is a description of what land and estates belonged to the Crown and others. The other two are Bibles.
How should I keep these and should I treat the leather some how?
These are stunning darling!!
Your are always so kind, thank you Sean!
Your very welcome Elisabethan!!
Just want to say that the wear and tare is old and wasn´t made by me. I kept this safe and only took them out to "secretly" read in them at night :-)
Thank you very much Geo26e!
Thankyou aghcollect!
Lovely old books.
I worked in a school library for a time and although our books weren't old they were a precious resource for the school. We did some mending but proper repair of antique books needs a professional and can get expensive.
This site gives very basic but sensible information on keeping old books:

Caperkid you're so right :). Have you been here?
Thankyou for love.
No its on my list mabee next time you host the world junior hockey tournament. I've met a lot of Swedes and it sounds like a beautiful country.
Thankyou. It is beautiful, most parts of it. Junior hockey, are you quite a young CW member?
I'm not sure of the average age for a cw member but I'm 45 collecting since I was a kid. So I'll take that as a complement lol. Love to watch amateur hockey live and would love to see it in another country that has a passion for it.
Roy
Wonderful Roy, you're as young as me, soon to be 45 lol. Great to have interests like CW and sports. I looked into your collection, you have a lot of things I like. Keep collecting! Have a nice day. It's minus 15 celcius here and snow and I'm planning to go out for a walk. See you again soon :)
Take care.:)
I will thankyou, you to :)
Wow... beautiful time-travellers.
Lata you are kind, thank you! They are a bit damaged but I think there are something nice about them still. I love that you call them time-travellers. They are.
