This is an old marble that I know my mother used to have. But I think it was old when she got it in the 50's. I would like to know more about it´s age. It looks like a puntil mark on it. The marbles were more beautiful in the past!

Thank you very much. When I come to think about it it´s actually the colors of our flag, blue and yellow. Funny how I never thought about that before.

It's beautiful!!! Väldigt vacker! Googla på Latticino marble / antique latticino marble...!

Hej Katzl!

Thanks Phil, but I'm not sure that is right. I mean for the larger marble, wich is the topic of my post the smaller once are just 'company'. Will investigate further. My mother was born in the 40's and got this when she was a little girl. I understood that she thought it was old when she got it, ofcourse I don't really know what that means exactly but I think her father had it before her. The marble has two puntil marks which I think indicates it is handmade. The marbles made in the 50's and 60's would have been without that, am I right? Thank you for your respons Phil, and love.

Hej!

Mvh Elisabeth

Thanks inky, Katzl also thought around that time. Thanks for paying attention to my small and not very valuable marble. I think it deserved a post, it looks nice and I've had it for as long as I can remember. Think I had some more once, but I try not to think about that :-)
