Hi there Collectors - I bought this at a flea market in NYC about 15 years ago and I have had it ever since - I love it! But recently my neighbor borrowed it for a painting class and the lady who was teaching wanted to buy it - I thought it was rustic German ware - but when I went to research it, so find something similar for her I thought it looked more like Redware from Pennsylvania - It has a 3 on the bottom and it super thick.
    It is 13.5" Diameter X 3" High X 1" thick.

Does anybody know anything about this? I would love to know if anybody out there has any information!

Bluewaters, what a beautiful piece. Love the decoration and condition. I am having trouble making out the color of the clay used. It looks like a white colored clay? Or is that the bottom glaze?

It is a whitish Grey clay - the bottom is not glazed - thank you for looking at it!

If the clay is white, then it would not be redware. Redware is made from a light red pinkish clay, like this:
