just purchased gilbert 1807 electric bonjo clock.i dont think 1807 is date of manufacter.probably made 1940s.my clock is very similar.22 inchs high.still researching
I just found a gilbert clock that looks very much like yours, except mine is stamped 3084 on the back along with made in usa. it also has a different pic. mine is of a carriage and nobles. please let me know if you find out anything on these clocks.
Thanks, Lena
I have a clock that appears to be identical to the one in the picture. I received it from my great grandmother when I was an infant (1962). She passed away not long after giving it to me. Nobody seems to know how long she had it or where she got it. It is stamped 8786 on the back. I would love any information on it.
Mine has a tall ship as the picture and number 8085.
My clock is very similar to yours. My mom got it back in the early 60s and recently admitted taking off the painting (bad thing). It is stamped 3083 on the back.
I have a gilbert 1807 banjo clock but it is a windup the mainspring is broken and I'm curious to know if it's worth the cost of repair.
