I have three Asian bronze vessels, each with a lid that has venting. I was told they were for rituals, censer bowls. Two are identical with Peacock and Peahen relief and marked. One is a tripod, thin legs, no marking. Design reminds me of bamboo on the lid. The identical vessels are 10" diameter and the egg shaped is 9 1/4 long on the longest side. Thank you in advance.
Beautiful Japanese metal censers, with impressed motifs, finished with a bronzed/brown layer. Early 20th.
