I am uncertain if this a Monitor Piece as I can find nothing to identify to confirm this. I would like to know the history of this piece. I LOVE it and it will stay with me until I die!
If anyone has any knowledge of this item I would greatly appreciate you sharing it with me!

I would say you nailed it. Even as a replica it's still a lovely piece of Chinoiserie.

Thank you TubeAmp and fortapache... it is a lovely piece of Chinoiserie. I am still trying to clean the nicotine off of it.......Do you both have any suggestions for cleaning it up?

Monitor was a company based out of Jamestown N.Y. from what I discovered from research!

Ok it is not an Antique as it is not over 100 years old.

oK. My brain thinks better this morning. English chinoiserie furniture is the style. You should be able to see many pieces of this if you google that title :)
