or Sacre Coeur. i really like this one. it's pretty darn old too, but in perfect condition. It's about 24" tall. Nice frame too.

I see a lot of this when I'm out and about ho2cultcha. Like you I was also raised during the 60's transition to the new hip Catholic church of Vatican II . Guitar masses, nuns in street clothes, all the fasting rules and regulations modified. I attended a seminary out of high school for a year in Cleveland. It had some of the most beautiful oil paintings and statuary lining the schools hallways and dorm areas. While the chapel was totally modern...ugh !! Some of it was creepy (especially in a dark hallway at night) and some I 'm sure was valuable. Most donated to the diocese from wealthy parishoners. I was always tempted to borrow something for my dorm room...lol.

I didn't mind it as a musical per se but in a church ?? Now Godspell's "Day by Day" on guitar in church or "Morning Has Broken" wasn't too bad. So many church's couldn't afford the upkeep or repair of their beautiful pipe organs. So they just sat and became useless over time. Such a shame.
Day by Day - i was kicked out of a performance of it i was supposed to be in. can't remember why, but i was a scandalous kid - even as the student body president of a catholic school!
