    also found in the Church basement today. All of these statues say ' Hecho en Mexico' on them. They are old too - probably 1920s or 30s or a little older.

      A lot of these came from Italy as well. They were imported by the Columbia Statuary Company. I have a few chalk ware figures made by them. There isn't much about this company online though. -Mike-

      I think that there were many different companies making them. Most of these ones all say 'Mexico' on them.

      Hi there! I know this is an old post and a long shot but do you know of anywhere I could find a statue like this one? It's just like one close family friends gave me from their Portuguese great grandmother from Oakland but unfortunately it was lost years ago and I would love to have another one if possible..thank you!
