Last year I had 14 antique wood stoves here. They were all used for hunt camps, shops, and low code use. This year I have been stocking up and collecting them. It is hard to see the beauty through these pictures (which are only a few ) of how beautiful they really are with embossing and flower design on several, but they are solid and very functional all the same. There were not many air tight, and fire bricked in those days, and I'm sure there were many fires due to the no code, and install to keep warm or freeze. We really don't know how good we have it now with all the propane and gas models of today. Back then if you didn't chop wood, you had better have some good comforters. ME
I live in the tropics but still love old wood-burner stoves/heaters.

Roy, I had a good come-back, but trying to be amiable with my old trusty antagonist. I refrained (and it was a struggle).
