    Okay pottery experts, I need some help. I have had this 3 piece set since 1994. I purchased it at an estate sale for $5.00. I have been searching off and on to identify the maker. The pottery has a talc feel to it and it is matte, inside and out. I think it may be made by Coors?, but I cannot find anything like it online or even at a couple of pottery shows. It is near mint condition, except for the small flea bite shown in the pictures. No cracks, crazing, or repairs. It measures approximately 8 1/2" in diameter, with the tray, and approximately 5" tall. I appreciate any help :}

      Reminds me of POD of Edgecomb Maine. The clay is white and the matte blue looks similar and they do nautical themes.

      Thanks Candance,
      Is POD an abbreviation or is that the name of the company?

      Candance,
      You may be right. I just searched eBay and found this listing that is quite similar:

      I don't know very much about the pottery but here is a link to a 2000 article about the pottery. http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=2457&dat=20000229&id=qAxbAAAAIBAJ&sjid=QU4NAAAAIBAJ&pg=4814,4144472
      It appears they have been making pottery since the 70's. They have a website. A person could possibly contact them to find out if they made the piece.

      Hello Everyone,
      I have been MIA, but I still need your help. I have researched POD of Edgecomb, Maine, and spoke to the company, but no avail :(

      Any further help is greatly appreciated. Hope everyone is well.
