Like I've stated in many of my past postings, I usually only purchase Unusual things.....this Ashtray because of the Color and "Blazing Star" design in it, certainly fits the bill. It is a heavy item weighing in at over 5 lbs. and it measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall. It is approximately 1" in thickness. The unusual color is of Root Beer and with a layer of Chartreuse. The deeply pressed design is of a "Blazing Star" with 8 points. The base is flat and polished. I have no idea on who made it but it does have some age wear to it. Any ideas? Thanks, RER(BOB)

      Hmmmmm......Looks Murano-ish to me.

Polished Base, colors, Style look Murano. I do know that Murano also did some designs like this in glass of different shapes.

So just because a star shape, it still could be Murano.

Yup, IMHO (my own opinion/gut feeling) I think Murano....but going to dig around some yet
