      Hello , I just found the same 7x5 tray at my local thrift shop. Like you I'm not sure what the markings mean and would love to find more info. on it. Anyway if you hear any feedback on yours; I would be most thankful to you if you pass any news to me about this tray, as I will do the same if I find out as well.

      walk with me please , because my eyes are to bad for the small mark , so we have to do this on style

      lets agree this is an underglaze, and the story behind this is rather peculiar , because the piece is japanese , but the children are chinese, its a leisure scene of the Wu KARAKO , meaning 5 children playing

      actually its a nobrainer , because it,s old Hirado style
      now the shit hits the fan because the brushstrokes under the feet are what they call frotte, which makes it vintage around 1960



      so we are probably commited to a Nabeshima Kazan emission and mark
