Can any one tell me about these chairs ... (name and/or type) I have looked all over the Web & not found anything like them ... I'm thinking they are side chairs many of victorian or french style ??? one is stripped & fabric removed ... The other is original ... there are flathead screws attaching the small ornamental arms ... I remember a small round chair pad ... it was a hooked rug I believe ... not sure if it was to place over the existing fabric or used to replace ... I found vintage chair pads [hand hooked] dating around the 30's so I'm assuming the chairs are also from around that time.

Probably even older. They are side chairs. You can tell from the picture they are sideways. You expect help do it right or stay home. You didn't look too hard.

Thank you for your help ... I'm still trying to rotate the picture.

Just get them right side up and then save.

The chairs are not a matched pair, obviously. Old? Yes and probably 40's or 50's. The cushion fabric you found elsewhere has no association with these chairs. I can tell you the one on the left in picture #1 is older than the one on the right. If you look at the details you will see where they saved money building the one on the right.

Ooh, fhr. I promise to always make sure my posts are not anti-gravity! Actually, I didn't see the original, but the message got thru. It is irritating, but take a breather, mon. LOL
