Hello BHock45! I see similar details with your Dutch custome brooch that you posted some time ago. Agram answered you there and
Some of the details she pointed out I think we see also here. But I have seen those in pieces from other countries too so for me it's hard to tell for sure. Maybe these are buttons? Hope you find an answer. They are interesting!

I agree with Elisabethan they could be Dutch and I think it are pendats because I see a bail on the last photo. In Holland were used a lot of coral for antique pieces . So if I see this bail I suppose they are pendants. Is that correct?

BHock do they open so something can go inside, it gives that appearance to me. If so could they be for some smell pretty for draws.

It could indeed also be vinaigrettes. In earlier times prior to the introduction of soaps, and their easy accessibility, people needed a reliable means to mask the varied smells and odors wafting through their environment. The vinaigrette served that purpose admirably. Designed as a miniature container with a small sponge that could be saturated with sweet smelling perfumes and oils

Oh my, thankyou for showers! I wouldn't have liked all the smells then :-)

sorry for the delay...zowie, the do not open, nothing can go inside. agram.m, thanks for helping. I must agree the are pendents. idcloisonne, no hallmarks that I can make out. I am not sure if they are silver or not.
