I Think this marble is of some age, hope to get some more ideas from you all now when I have added some better photos of it. It has two pontil marks from the making, one at each end of the inner swirl. I think this is an antique hand made marble. Any ideas on this are weolcome.

As far as i know these are german handmade marbles from the lauscha region and are called lattacinio core swirl when the inner cores consist of thin strands/ribbons of glass that run from pole to pole in the center of the marble.

I have to agree with getthatmonkeyoutofme (gwd! I hope I spelt that right) definitely think it is German and from around the turn of the 20th century.....:-)

Thank you getthatmonkeyoutofme and inky! I think you're right! I have another post on this one where Katzl has given that answer to. Since Sweden is a 'glassmakercountry' I've been playing with the thought this was made here. But it's more likely german then. I will change this to solved now. Thanks!
