This is a twin arm brass wall sconce lighting fixture. It has been in my possession for 20 years. Neither my husband or myself can remember where it came from before that.
The back plate as well as the bulb fixtures are brass. The arms and drip trays are glass. The mounting brace on the back is stamped "Made in Czecho Slovakia". The stamp is impossible to see in the picture. I only saw it with a magnifying glass. Switch box in back says Arrow, 3A. 125V, 1A. 250V. Candle socket covers are metal, possibly also brass. Quarter inch ceramic insulator at bottom of bulb connection. Bulb connection inside cardboard insulator looks like copper. Beige color braided wiring from switch box out to bulb fixture. Black braided wiring from switch box to wall. Turn switch.
Measurements are approximately:
13 inches widest point outside drip trays
9 inches arm to arm
8.5 inches tall
8.5 inches from wall
Back plate is 4 5/8 inches.
The more I research and study this lamp, the more I love it. I cannot find much information on Czech lighting. I would like to date this fixture as close as possible. I research all of my collectibles, but this one is stumping me.
Any information or leads for research will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
