Here is a nice Art deco cocktail set that I've just purchased. As you know, the French have always claimed a taste for slimy little animals and this type of set was used to eat snails (I can see your face... ;). It is in excellent condition, but the sticks are missing, so I will have to find some... I believe it is from the 1930's (it is very much in the style of Benjamin Rabier's tableware), though I'm not quite sure. If anyone has an opinion about it, please feel free to write a comment! It is made of cast aluminium and measures 15.5 cm x 6.7 cm (approx. 6" x 2" 3/4').
I actually realised how sweet these outmoded objects were after seeing two posts by Paris1925 :

So thanks to my compatriot for this discovery! ;)
Hey, escargot are delicious! Warning: Not on a 1st date.
Haha! ;))
Just found some sticks to match with it... From the same period, made of chrome and red galalith.
Looks even better now!
I just love this :))
Thank you! :)
