This is a "GolfAide" tool with a "Union Carbide" logo engraved on one side made by the W.E. Bassett Company, Shelton, Connecticut - circa 1985
Stamped on front side is the GOLFAIDE logo (©1969 - W.E. Bassett) and the U.S. Patent No. D215668 (®1969 - W.E. Bassett) & "BASSETT USA 85"
On the reverse is the "Union Carbide" corporation logo. - Chrome-plated
This is a combination golf shoe cleat adjuster wrench, cleat cleaner tool, and divot fixer.
W.E. Bassett Company was founded in 1939 and operated out of their Shelton, Connecticut facility. - The company introduced their TRIM® line of personal care implements in 1947 which included grooming tools and accessories for men and women, nail dressers, tweezers and stainless steel scissors and nippers. The company closed its Shelton factory in 2012 after being acquired by Pacific World, a giant cosmetics company based in California.
