This is a wonderful Rindskopf? Bohemian vase that has taken me about 7 months to acquire from a good friend of mine. This beauty measures 7.25" with a perfectly polished pontil and is in mint condition. What is interesting about this vase is that the vase has a lot of texture and each drop has a life of its own. The whole vase has a sheen of pure gold iridescence on it..including the blue tadpoles. And my girls call it there PIZZA Vase :-)
This vase was in storage for many years. The story goes ....that my friend who was a Doctor....bought this vase from a good friend back in Connecticut. His friend was florist and, acquired this vase from his clients. I am grateful to my friend for allowing me to work with him....Thank you!!
BTW, female kitty on the table's name is Kralik :) Her brother Loetz has been on CW biting the rim of another Loetz!

Lee... the thought just occurred to me... this could be a Glasfabrik Schliersee piece (vs. PK) - check out the oil spots (particularly the color) in your vase and compare to the pieces in my previous article:

I can't find the shape in my book - but the oil spot looks like a match to me.
