    This is part one of the photos. It is a heavy lamp! I need any help you can give me identifying this. There is a M and what looks like LCAST or something like that on the bottom. It looks like a big M and a smaller LCAS surrounded by a 3/4 rectangle shape? Look at the photos. There is also a patent number that looks like it says 69455 or 69155. It also has a MG-69 on the bottom and the word monowatt on the top part of the lamp.

    Please help me identify this! Is it a true antique?

      Hi! I was quite excited to see the picture of similar lamp that I have been trying to research about. But I see nobody had any inputs on it. In one of the references I could see that these were made around 1950's ( can't find the link to reference since I browsed too much after that) . The one that I have is from few years earlier since the bottom has engraving ' PAT APPLD FOR' (Patient applied for) . If you come across any more information, I would appreciate your sharing with me.
