    This was found in Calvert County, Maryland using a metal detector. The yard that is was found in was a dairy in, I believe the 1700 or 1800's. I would like to know a bit more about it if any one recognizes what it is. I think it is some kind of wine tap or maybe a early water tap of sorts. The handle is still operational. It seems to be in good condition with little or no deterioration.
