A recent purchase from a visiting young artist who said he was from Brittany and studying at l'Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. It is a striking contemporary oil painting which we have had framed. I really love its vibrancy. I've posted this to complement another show and tell who was seeking information about the artist. The signatures are the same but the styles are so different perhaps because the artist is just in his early twenties and finding his style. I've found some similar ones on auction sites ( similar to the other post not mine). He also told us that this painting represented a song by the Gorillaz called "Demon days".
I like this, again completely different from either other post. Find it hard to believe he is in his early twenties tho, as I dont know how old mine is, but know that its at least 7 years old, which would have made extremely young to have painted the one I have .. however, talent has no boundaries :o)
We also have a contemporary W. Mirkin that we purchased recently that is very similar in style. We love it.
