The wall phone was manufactured by Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Chicago. around 1910. nice complete oak wall phone.
Thanks again Tom!
Any idea what a piece like this would go for?
There is one at a little antique store near me and they are asking $250. Theirs is very similar to yours except the wood looks like it has been restored and the bells are shiny.
Thanks Tikiray. I'm guessing the condition mine is in, the value won't be too high then.
Ivan, The condition of your wall phone depends on who is buying it, some of the collectors I know want to buy them barn fresh and others want them to look like new. In most antique shops the phones have been restored and the going price seem to be around 250.00 to 350.00, but at 350.00 there still hanging on the walls a year later. Now on ebay a single box wall phone like yours is selling for around $150.00 to $200.00
Ok, I see. Thanks for the info!
I have an antique Kellogg wall telephone -- it is missing the crank. I want to
buy a crank for mine. Any ideas where I can find one to bid on????
