I came across this item when going through boxes of my parents old belongings. Not sure how old it is or if any parts are missing. Cannot make out the word on the bottom which I'm assuming is the maker or the brand name. I did happen to make out a second word on the bottom, which is ITALY (most likely place it was made). Would really like to know what this is and its function or use. My guess is that its a very fancy plant mister. Any information is appreciated.

This looks a lot like the bottom part of a HOOKA for smoking tobacco.

Exactly - glass hookah (waterpipe) base - I believe the maker's name is "Mastercraft" - for smokin' the fancy plant, not misting it :)

I looked up "Mastercraft" and it looks like you both are correct. Thanks!
