I think this is an overstuffed chair from the 1920-30s, but I'd love to find out more about this piece. It has been reupholstered at least once, maybe twice based on the tack holes. It was clearly "repaired" a time or two with aluminum staples. What I think are original to the chair are u shaped tacks. I pulled off the torn upholstery and revealed a small patch of golden material on the base of the seat (original?). There is no writing, or tags or anything to give a clue. Any info anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. I want to restore it well and do it justice.

Phil... you are amazing to find all this stuff.......but I wouldn't use Leopard fabric.

Again, Phil, thank you! I do like the leopard print but I want to try and date the chair so I can go with a fabric or design that suits the era of the chair. The leopard print chairs was stated as circa 1910 and they are the closest match I've found so far. I'm going to talk with an antique dealer/family friend this week. I researched the art and tapestries between 1910 and 1930 and I'm super excited about finding or creating something suitable :) I appreciate any and all input!
